Hello Again!

Hey I'm still here! I was watching "Sweet Baby" last week, and man that takes up all of your time. (I forgot about that....it has been a long time since there was a baby around here!)
So here is a little project that I was working on this morning.

I picked these little pumpkins up at the Goodwill MONTHS ago. When shopping at the Goodwill you have to buy things when you see them. I think I picked these little pumpkins up around Easter time. (whenever that was) They were $2.99 each (I picked up all four)

Pretty cute already. I want my Halloween decor to be Fall-ish. We're not really into the blood and guts thing around here.

I picked up some grocery store flowers in the marked down section. Sometimes you have to look pretty hard to find them.
$15.00 worth of flowers made 3 arrangements.

After I put the blossoms into the pumpkins, I arranged them in my glass Goodwill cheese plates that I pick up every time I see them.

Add a little candy corn to a cylinder vase.....yes from the G-Dub...add a scoop...

  1. I deleted my comment because I didn't mean dollar store.

    Here goes again:

I'm getting hungry looking at that candy corn. Seriously, with peanuts mixed into it. Yum.

You did amazing at creating fall beauty on a shoestring!

  5. I'm a Fall decorator too - no halloween, spooky stuff for me either. I love what you came up with for the pumpkins and I have to say that great minds think alike because I did something very similar with my candy pumpkins. I'll be showing what I did tomorrow!

  6. Brilliant! I was just at a thrift store this morning, and wish I had a few more minutes to browse the breakables. Rather, wish I didn't have a toddler in a stroller with me at the time so I could actually go near the breakables. :)

  10. Huh! I guess I'm going to have to decorate for Fall. Did you figure out that your pumpkins are from Target? Casual home is one of their lines. You are really good at flower arrangement. Did you know that I have college credit in flower arrangement? It was a one credit course, and I think the only elective I ever took. When I moved out of the city, I went to lectures by the Garden Club. This one man went to every parking lot and odd place in the county to get free greens and whatever and showed how to make arrangements for next to nothing. I am driving cross country and trying to figure out how to make a detour to visit Miss Mustard Seed's new retail space. Pennsylvania doesn;t really have hotels that take dogs, sooo, I'll have to detour to Maryland. I need me some sheet music doodads. Ann
